Our Mission
Mercy Hands is an Iraqi non-governmental organization committed to operating in conflict and disaster-affected regions, delivering both humanitarian and developmental assistance. Our mission starts with saving lives and extends towards the establishment of a thriving, conflict-free community.
We are dedicated to providing emergency aid, reconstructing infrastructure, enhancing living standards, advancing human rights and democracy, advocating for women's rights, fostering environmental improvement, and actively participating in peacebuilding initiatives.

Empowerment
From gender-based violence awareness campaigns, to vocational training, to working in women's shelters and more, women empowerment is a core part of the work we do in Iraq.

Through our projects we implement capacity-building trainings and cash-for-work schemes to improve the livelihood opportunities for our communities.

We work with communities to empower vulnerable groups, rehabilitate youth centres and provide capacity building trainings .

Research is essential to our work because we want to deliver the most needed assistance to the most vulnerable people in a timely manner.
